About us
The Digital Marketing Steering Manager, Global plays a critical execution and coordination role in supporting the Global Head of Digital Marketing and three Regional Digital Marketing Managers (Americas, Europe, APAC) in delivering the Global Operating Model across 20 markets and all external agency partners.
This role acts as the global operational engine — enabling Regional Managers to focus on strategic agency stewardship, performance governance, and budget allocation by handling the operational execution that underpins their work: agency reporting consolidation, creative asset coordination, campaign readiness, website content management, RFP support, GOM compliance tracking, and cross-regional coordination.
Reports directly to the Head of Digital Marketing, Global.
Key Responsibilities
Agency Operations & GOM Compliance Support
Support Regional Digital Marketing Managers in monitoring agency adherence to the Global Operating Model across all markets
Consolidate monthly and quarterly agency performance KPIs (CPA, ROAS, etc.) across regions into global reporting dashboards
Coordinate agency deliverable timelines — ensuring performance briefs, digital plans, and optimizations are submitted on schedule and to global standards
Support RFP processes by coordinating documentation, evaluation criteria, timelines, and stakeholder inputs across regions
Assist in onboarding new agencies — preparing GOM orientation materials, access requirements, reporting templates, and compliance checklists
Maintain and update GOM documentation, playbooks, and compliance checklists as the model evolves
Flag agency performance risks, adherence gaps, or cross-market inconsistencies to Regional Managers for escalation
Budget & Performance Reporting Support
- Support Regional Managers in tracking digital budget allocation among agencies and channels across markets
- Compile performance data to help identify underperforming channels and inform reallocation recommendations
- Assist in preparing quarterly deep-dive performance materials and strategic recommendations for regional and global stakeholders
- Audit media buy efficiency data and consolidate cross-market learnings for Regional Manager review
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all agency-submitted reports
Creative, Content & Campaign Coordination
- Coordinate localization of global creative assets to meet regional linguistic, regulatory, and cultural requirements across markets
- Manage creative review cycles — routing assets (storyboards, rough cuts, final deliverables) through approval workflows
- Execute website copy uploads across all markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency with global standards
- Build and maintain landing pages to support campaign initiatives and testing roadmaps globally
- Coordinate email newsletter content (monthly/quarterly), including asset preparation and copy integration across regions
- Support campaign readiness by coordinating asset delivery between agencies, Regional Managers, and internal teams
- AI Readiness Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.
Tracking & Marketing Operations
- Collaborate with analytics and media teams to ensure tracking frameworks are properly implemented and consistent across all markets
- Support troubleshooting of tracking issues (e.g., conversions, tagging, campaign performance discrepancies)
- Assist in aligning campaign tracking requirements with global standards and tools (e.g., GTM, platform pixels)
- Monitor adherence to global reporting standards across agency submissions
Cross-Regional Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment
- Act as a key liaison between the Global Head of Digital Marketing, Regional Managers, and local market stakeholders
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communications across multiple regions and time zones
- Support Regional Managers in adapting global strategy to local market needs — coordinating cultural nuances, regulatory requirements, country-specific disclosures, and localization variants with agencies
- Track competitor and market activity inputs from Regional Managers and consolidate for global visibility
- Manage meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and follow-up actions for global team cadences
- Document best practices, cross-market learnings, and agency benchmarking insights
Key Skills & Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or agency coordination roles
- Experience working with external digital agencies in a governance, coordination, or operations capacity
- Hands-on experience with website CMS, content publishing, and digital campaign coordination
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels (paid search, social, programmatic, SEO, email) and campaign lifecycle
- Strong understanding of performance KPIs (CPA, ROAS, conversion metrics) and reporting frameworks
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously across regions
- Analytical mindset with experience in performance reporting, data consolidation, and budget tracking
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain documentation and compliance standards
- Experience working across multiple markets, regions, languages, and time zones
- Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across diverse stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries preferred
