We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst – MNL AI Solutions to join our team in Madrid, Spain. 

Your Team 

You will join the MNL Technology Team at Allianz Commercial, supporting the wider Multinational team, which covers 100+ employees worldwide across different functions. The MNL Technology Team sits at the intersection of business and IT, funnelling ideas and shaping them into concrete solutions that are carried through to development.

At its core is our business application GPS 2.0, the Global Program System, which serves as the backbone that orchestrates our Multinational business. Working alongside MNL Management, the user community, IT, AI experts, solution partners and stakeholders across Producing and Servicing Offices, the Multinational Excellence Center and the broader Allianz MNL network, you will help translate ideas into practical, compliant and scalable solutions. 

The Impact You Will Have 

As Senior Business Analyst for Multinational AI Solutions, you will combine multinational domain knowledge with transformation experience to translate complex operational workflows into structured requirements and AI-ready specifications. Operating across MNL Producing and Servicing Offices, the Multinational Excellence Center and the broader Allianz MNL network, you will sit at the intersection of business analysis and applied AI experimentation — identifying and designing MNL AI use cases, accompanying their development and testing, and ensuring delivered solutions are grounded in operational reality and compliant with Allianz internal standards. 

You will be a visible and trusted team member: someone who speaks up, takes responsibility and continuously delivers results. You will bring genuine curiosity to find the best AI-based solutions to improve operational excellence for colleagues, clients and the wider Multinational community. 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

• You will analyse and define AI use cases by eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements from Allianz Commercial operating entities, the Multinational Excellence Center, and other stakeholders, producing process maps, user stories, and functional specifications suitable for both human review and AI agent consumption. 

• You will apply your multinational domain knowledge and transformation experience to drive practical implementation, bringing strong understanding of multinational programme insurance operating models, policy lifecycles, premium allocation and reinsurance mechanics. 

• You will design AI agent workflows, structuring multi-step processes including task decomposition, tool use, agent handoffs, human-in-the-loop checkpoints and escalation paths, while defining data flows and integration requirements. 

• You will develop AI prototypes and test feasibility by designing and building lightweight prototypes using different AI agents, writing and executing test scripts, iterating on prompt and logic design, and evaluating model outputs against defined business acceptance criteria. 

• You will produce solution concepts and handover documentation, translating prototype results and agent designs into executive-ready materials and acting as a key driver between business and IT during solution design and implementation. 

• You will be part of the Agile Release Train (ART), actively supporting development, system testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, suppliers, and stakeholders. 

• You will ensure compliance by guiding solutions through Allianz Commercial’s internal checks across security, data protection, and related standards, securing all approvals needed to go live. 

• You will maintain and enhance AI agents in production, monitoring accuracy of results and implementing improvements to optimise token usage, quality, and adaptation to new requirements. 

• You will act as a facilitator and AI ambassador, supporting change management and adoption across the Multinational community and helping stakeholders understand and apply existing Allianz Commercial AI tools. 

What You’ll Bring 

• You ideally have a Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field. 

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, with solid skills in requirements elicitation and functional specification authoring in complex, ambiguous environments. 

• You have a good knowledge of multinational commercial insurance programme operations, including policy lifecycle, premium allocation, and reinsurance mechanics. 

• You have hands-on experience, or a strong interest, in artificial intelligence and large language model prototype development, including prompt engineering and AI agent workflow design. 

• You have strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with a proven ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple workstreams to delivery within agreed timelines. 

• You have excellent communication and presentation skills, engaging stakeholders across both business and technical audiences. 

• You bring genuine curiosity and motivation to apply artificial intelligence to improve business processes, optimise outcomes and support broader organisational goals.

• You have a good understanding of IT management and governance, with experience supporting software delivery projects in complex business environments. 

• Fluent English is essential; additional languages are a welcome advantage.
