Allianz is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Developer Configuration team. This role is pivotal in developing operations support and enhancing software deployment and management processes using Chocolatey, a package manager for Windows. The position will also involve expanding solutions to include a package manager for MacOS and additional functionalities.
You will
- Collaborate with Product Owners and business entities to gather requirements, analyze existing problems, and develop comprehensive solutions.
- Engage in building new projects and upgrading infrastructure.
- Provide administration and engineering support for all Chocolatey, including implementing new systems or processes.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM/ITIL) and Continuous Process Improvement.
- Plan and schedule changes, coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents related to the product and handle problem tickets.
- Offer technical expertise and guidance as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest features and solutions for supported products and upskill as program demands.
- Work in an Agile environment, focusing on performance management tasks to enhance team and individual performance.
Your skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in setting up IT support systems for any product/service especially in software development.
- Expert in Application packaging
- Expert in building MSI and MST creation.
- Strong Understanding for converting EXE to MSIX, MSI to MSIX and APP-V creation.
- Expert skills in PowerShell, Scripting and fundamental Coding capabilities.
- Expert in Github Operations
- Ability to work with Linux & WSL environment
- Expert in Nexus Server Management
- Expert IIS & SQL Administration
- Expert in Incident management
- Expert skills for Microsoft Windows 11 configuration and settings.
- Experience with Chocolatey and experience in managing software packages.
- Strong understanding of developer tools and services.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
