Position Summary
- This role is responsible for understanding the business requirements and translate them into functional, conceptual and high-level technical designs that can be used to create the detailed technical designs for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defines, implements and maintains the IT architecture target picture to accelerate Allianz’ future strategy and opportunities.
- Establishes the IT architecture framework and develops the IT architecture roadmap.
- Defines IT architecture design methodologies and coordinates between all involved experts.
- Assesses the compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies within Allianz Technology.
- Operationalizes the IT architecture.
- Drives alignment of Allianz Technology and OE IT technology landscape with the enterprise architecture target picture, including system retirement.
- Works in collaboration with the Product Manager & Product Owner for the team to secure effective business resources and engagement in taking forward the mission of the team.
- Ensures the delivery of new functionality is at the appropriate levels of quality, time and scope.
- Works with peers and experts for continued personal and team growth and development as well as self-directed ongoing personal development.
- Works in an agile environment and demonstrate a growth mindset through personal and professional development.
- Positive attitude paired with a good portion of curiosity and a customer-centric service attitude.
- Works closely with the Agile team and product owner of other Agile teams as well as with other scrum masters and other project leaders.
- Performs Code Review to ensure code quality.
Key requirements / skills / experience:
- Bachelor's degree with a min. of 7-9 years of professional experience
- OPUS application know how is required.
- An understanding of the Up and Downstream systems connected would be advantageous. These include: AQUA Portal; ACTS; BIH; Dispatcher; EIM; FileNet; Foundry; GSSS; MIS DWH.
- Experience in Design Thinking, Story Mapping
- Experience in the Financial Services specifically in the Insurance Domain
- Cross-cultural and international work experience
- Good Communication and Documentation skills
- Personal organization and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills including facilitation, problem solving and conflict management
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services and migration processes.
- Experience with system integration and enterprise architecture
- Experience with vulnerability management and security protocols.
- Experience in integrating Oracle applications with upstream and downstream systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Certification on IT Architecture (eg. TOGAF), or Allianz Technology IT Architect Qualification Program
- Ability to cover timezones from Japan (8:30am) through to India (18:00pm), though this is usually not on the same day, [EK1] [JF2] and business level English proficiency required.
- Having a basic understanding or exposure to AI tools would be a plus.
