About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of claims in Victorian Workers Compensation scheme at the early stages of their injury in accordance with both relevant regulatory and Allianz requirements.
- Maintaining a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
- Building effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders, injured claimants, family members, legal providers, and medical professionals to drive successful outcomes.
- Assessing claims for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements.
- Assessing and managing injury needs of claimants, handling correspondence regarding workers compensation benefits, treatment and rehabilitation and interpret medical reports.
About you
- Demonstrated completion of structured training opportunities and submission of a portfolio of evidence.
- Experience in personal injury claims processes and procedures in insurance, legal, medical, or complex customer services. (Victorian Workers Compensation scheme)
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing advice and guidance to the other team members
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision-making.
- Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
