We have an exciting opportunity to join the Tail (RTW 52-130 weeks) environment as an Injury Management Specialist.

 

About the role 

  • Provides strategic advice and expert injury management support to case managers, ensuring high-quality decision-making and effective Recovery and RTW (Return to Work) outcomes.
  • Develops and motivates team members to achieve their best, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement in performance, APA results, and team culture.
  • Maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers, injured workers, occupational rehabilitation providers, and treating health practitioners to support treatment, recovery plans, and effective communication.
  • Leads case conferencing for aligned case managers, supporting claim strategy development, and enhancing their skills to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Utilizes initiative and creative thinking to improve team efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to a motivated and high-performing team environment.

 

About you

  • With experience in case management and injury management within personal injury schemes, with strong understanding of the Victorian Workers Compensation Scheme and Allied Health settings
  • Skilled in motivating teams, driving high performance, and coaching others to achieve professional growth and development
  • Builds strong rapport with diverse stakeholders including allied health professionals, workers, employers, and internal team members, fostering collaboration and trust.
  • Can manage time effectively and can thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with changing priorities
  • Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
