INTERNAL ASSESSOR – CLUB MARINE - MELBOURNE

About the role
- Undertake reviews of the claims technical process via review of claims files, invoices and staff feedback and provide feedback that leads to claims savings.
- Develop and monitor a leakage program and identify areas of technical development of staff that leads to fair customer outcomes.
- Record and keep detailed analysis of claims leakage, provide feedback and training to the staff to assist with their technical development.
- Identify relevant technical training needs for the claims unit through completion of training needs analysis and validation of approval to repair documents (ATR), acceptance of quotes, and technical referrals, providing regular feedback.
- Ensure adherence to cost control strategies and practices to minimise costs while maintaining plan with a focus on reducing claims leakage and other related expenses per claim.
About you
- Meet all competency elements and authority levels as defined in the ‘Claims Competency Framework’.
- Extensive experience in a motor or boat related industry.
- Previous experience in boating repairer, mechanical or sales role.
- Exposure to inventory management, networking and negotiation.
- Qualified boat builder or marine mechanic.
- Minimum 5 years marine mechanical or hull technical operational experience (post apprenticeship).
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
