About the role
- Act as primary point of contact for all claims related to our Dealer, Partner and Broker Clients, engaging a call cycle plan, arranging onsite/offsite visitations which all external stakeholders to manage their claims portfolio directly.
- Work with the state account manager to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our external partners through regular engagement.
- Attend any large loss events, catastrophe sites or any claimable events to directly liaise with all parties involved to deal with any incidents effectively.
- Represent the claims team at trade shows, workshops and local industry events in your state.
- Manage all customer contact by providing a positive experience in a timely manner across all customer touch points in accordance with Club Marine’s 5 Star Customer Experience Programme.
- Ensure all contact, and individual actions & behaviours, complies with the various legislative codes such as the Code of Practice. Is familiar with and can quote legislative guidelines, and Club Marine’s Claims and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure and maintain knowledge of current legislation and how this impacts claims management, applying soundly based decision-making to all claims and consistently making liability decisions of increasing complexity at claims lodgment and throughout the life of the claim.
About you
- Experience in Insurance or customer facing roles with exposure to complaints or disputes.
- Previous Insurance/Financial Service experience in a role with exposure to complaints and disputes or negotiation necessary.
- Identifies issues and opportunities using all relevant and available information. Determines the causes and possible solutions to risk/problems to drive excellent customer experience.
- Knows how to use the software effectively and efficiently. Understands the processes and procedures that align to providing excellent customer experience.
- The ability to understand, interpret, communicate and take action recognising market/industry issues and trends.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
