You will be joining Allianz's Group Compliance Team, a global leader in financial services with a steadfast commitment to integrity, transparency, and regulatory excellence. The Strategy and Steering team within Group Compliance plays a crucial role in shaping Allianz's compliance framework, driving strategic initiatives, and implementing technological solutions that enhance compliance operations. The team collaborates closely with senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure that Allianz remains proactive in addressing regulatory changes and industry developments. The Assistant serves as a trusted business partner to the Group Compliance leadership team and as the operational coordinator for strategic initiatives, regulatory transformation programmes, governance activities, executive reporting, and stakeholder management.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Maintain end-to-end oversight of strategic Group Compliance initiatives and transformation programmes, tracking milestones, deliverables, dependencies, budgets, risks, and action items
  • Establish and maintain executive dashboards and project trackers; proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of commitments
  • Escalate delays, risks, and implementation issues to Group Compliance leadership in a timely and structured manner
  • Support programme governance for major initiatives, including AML/CTF, sanctions, compliance technology, whistleblowing, conduct risk, investigations, and regulatory change programmes
  • Prepare Board-quality presentations, executive reports, briefing notes, and management updates; coordinate input from multiple stakeholders across Group Compliance, Operating Entities, and Regions
  • Translate complex information into concise, executive-level presentations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and professional quality of all management materials
  • Organise and coordinate senior governance forums and leadership meetings; develop agendas, meeting materials, and decision papers; record minutes, actions, decisions, and key discussion points
  • Track implementation of decisions and closure of actions; maintain governance documentation and records to ensure effective execution of governance processes and reporting requirements
  • Act as the AI productivity champion within Group Compliance: identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency leveraging AI-enabled tools for presentation preparation, executive reporting, meeting summarisation, action tracking, workflow management, data analysis, and document management
  • Develop standard templates, automated workflows, and productivity solutions to drive continuous improvement across the team
  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling across multiple regions and time zones; coordinate travel arrangements and leadership events
  • Support budget administration, procurement coordination, invoice tracking, and vendor management activities
  • Manage confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism; anticipate management requirements and proactively resolve administrative and operational issues

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Law, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
  • From 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Assistant roles supporting Compliance, Risk, Audit, or Legal functions, PMO or Project Management Office environments, consulting or transformation programmes, or the financial services / insurance industry
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Generative AI / GenAI / Generative Artificial Intelligence — Demonstrated ability to leverage generative AI tools (including Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise) to enhance productivity, automate workflows, and support executive reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with productivity and project management platforms: Power BI, Power Automate, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Highly proactive, solution-oriented, and execution-disciplined
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional planning, organisational, and attention-to-detail capabilities

Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € 34.000 gross and € 40.000 gross. Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement. The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
