GENERATIVE AI DELIVERY PROJECT MANAGER

The mission of the Advanced Analytics & Solutions team is to design, develop, and operate analytics and AI solutions, in coordination with Allianz Technology AI Center of Competence. The Generative AI Delivery Project Manager coordinates end-to-end Generative AI initiatives, ensuring alignment across business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery partners. The role is primarily focused on coordinating and aligning teams and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of Generative AI initiatives, while overseeing the technical implementation design and contributing to technical activities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Generative AI projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Plan and manage project activities, risks, dependencies, and communication with all stakeholders, including business representatives, ensuring continuous alignment and support.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Data Science, Engineering, IT, Business, Architecture, Legal/Compliance, and external vendors.
• Supervise the technical design of GenAI solutions (RAG pipelines, LLM assistants, autonomous AI agents, vector-based retrieval, AI orchestration workflows).
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI, internal AI and IT governance frameworks, and IT security requirements.
• Contribute to implementing  an AI architecture that fosters reusability and internal frameworks and best practices to boost GenAI adoption.

Key Requirements / Skills / Experience

• STEM degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science).
• 4-5 years of experience in AI/Data project management or delivery roles.
• Experience with Generative AI initiatives, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, agentic AI systems, and autonomous workflow orchestration.
• Knowledge of Cloud ecosystems (Azure & Databricks and/or AWS), as well as AI and Agentic AI tooling and frameworks.
• Knowledge of the principles of AI governance and compliance.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and work under pressure.
• Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken.
