JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
You will be joining Allianz’s esteemed Group Compliance Team, a global leader in financial services with a steadfast commitment to integrity, transparency, and regulatory excellence. This team is instrumental in ensuring Allianz maintains a strong compliance posture, adhering to regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions while fostering a culture of ethical business practices.
The Strategy and Steering team within Group Compliance plays a crucial role in shaping Allianz’s compliance framework, driving strategic initiatives, and implementing technological solutions that enhance compliance operations. This team collaborates closely with senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure that Allianz remains proactive in addressing regulatory changes and industry developments.
As the Global Compliance IT Solutions officer, you will be at the forefront of transforming compliance through technology. You will work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Risk Management, Legal, and Operating Entities, to develop and implement cutting-edge compliance IT solutions. Your expertise will help ensure that compliance processes are not only efficient and scalable but also aligned with Allianz’s global corporate strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will include assisting with the:
- Manage the global implementation of compliance solutions across multiple regions.
- Monitor and track the remedial actions implemented by operating entities resulting from compliance system targeted reviews
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with regional and local teams to tailor solutions based on local regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Ensure compliance IT solutions align with company-wide governance standards and strategic objectives.
- Execute the global compliance strategy through effective IT-driven solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Group Compliance Team, Allianz operating entities, and key stakeholders.
- Analyze global regulatory trends to refine and enhance compliance strategies.
- Assess existing IT systems, identifying areas for enhancement and optimization.
- Drive the alignment of compliance IT tools with overall business objectives.
- Document all aspects of compliance IT solutions for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Manage steering committees with Allianz entities to ensure alignment, productivity, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a productive and collaborative environment, driving the company's strategic vision forward based on actionable data, and ensuring the seamless execution of internal and external communication tasks
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Compliance, or equivalent. An advanced degree such as an MBA is highly preferred.
- Certifications (preferred): CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CAMS (Certified AML Specialist), CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional), CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager), PMP (Project Management Professional), or similar.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance (particularly in Anti Financial Crime) with a focus on IT compliance solutions and system implementation. Experience in the financial industries is required.
- Strong background in information technology related to compliance tools, software implementation, and systems integration
- Knowledge on Actimize and NetReveal is a plus.
- Data Reporting.
- Deep understanding of insurance processes, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution of complex IT projects.
- Extensive knowledge of international compliance regulatory frameworks and industry best practices
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus).
- Availability to travel as needed.
