Description
We are looking for an IT Service Continuity Specialist, a crucial role dedicated to ensuring the resilience of our IT services in alignment with business continuity objectives. Join a dynamic team within the IT Risk and Strategy Office, part of the Retained IT Department at Allianz S.p.A. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the overall IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) by ensuring that critical IT technical and service capabilities can be restored within agreed business timescales and in line with the Business Requirements. The role involves designing, maintaining, and continuously improving the IT Service Continuity Management framework, collaborating with various stakeholders to identify recovery requirements, assess risks to service availability, and implement effective continuity strategies in accordance with Group requirements. The ideal candidate will contribute to reinforce the governance around IT continuity, ensuring that recovery plans are tested and that the Business requirement in term of availability of the services is maintained. Key activities:
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) process, including Disaster Recovery (DR), IT backup, and IT resilience, driving maturity and adoption across the Operating Entity (OE) in alignment with Group requirements.
- Act as project manager for DR-related initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication between service providers and application teams to reduce ambiguity and ensure timely updates during continuity planning and execution.
- Synchronize ITSCM needs with the Architecture team to plan and execute DR tests, drills, and compliance activities in collaboration with service providers and Business Resilience teams.
- Continuously improve the resilience of IT services by working closely with the Architecture department, process owners, and Business departments to identify and implement enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports and presentations to Top Management, Committees, the Board of Directors, and other internal governance bodies.
- Independently conduct ad-hoc risk analyses and thematic or deep-dive risk reviews (e.g., DR approach assessments, RTO/RPO analysis, etc.), providing actionable insights and recommendations
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent preferably in Information Security, Risk Management, Information Technology, Engineering or an equivalent qualifications
- 3-5 years professional experience with focus in IT Service Continuity Management /IT Risk - preferably in structured and international environments.
- Familiarity with ITSCM standards (ISO 22301, 27031, etc.) and regulatory frameworks (DORA, VAIT, etc.).
- Strong understanding of RTO, RPO, SLA/OLA mechanisms in global operations.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work across departments.
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)

- Basic knowledge of AI principles and Responsible AI framework
