We are looking for a Junior Property Risk Consultant, to work out of our Milano office. 

 

Your Team  

Our Allianz Risk Consulting (ARC) team is made up of experienced engineers from a wide range of technical and scientific disciplines. The team provides a flexible range of risk consulting services, from natural hazards, fire safety, and human and organizational risk factors to in-depth analysis of industry operations, and financial exposures, across all industry sectors and risks. We also focus on delivering bespoke training plans to help optimize risk management procedures in the long term. 

We are able to call on many years of specific business risk experience – creating tailor-made risk management services to respond to unique challenges. 

 

The Impact You Will Have  

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Property Allianz Risk Consulting of MEDA region, you will conduct surveys to support business and customer needs, assess and summarize an account's operations, exposures, control adequacy and indicate any improvements needed. In addition, you provide loss control expertise to customers and business partners and generally offer a high-level service to your accounts providing value-added expertise at every touchpoint. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

  • Working collaboratively in a team of underwriters, loss control, claims and other business partners 
  • Establishing and maintaining commercial relations to persuade customers to choose Allianz Commercial and to embrace our improvement solutions 
  • Delivering concise, high quality, objective views of risk in a timely manner. This includes accurate loss expectancies, assessments of account exposures, control adequacy, risk grading, and appropriate recommendations and/or service plans 
  • Developing technically based risk management recommendations. Providing insights, analysis, and best engineering judgement to determine likelihood of impact to loss mitigation and working with client, broker and underwriting to improve overall account risk quality 
  • Application of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and related safety guidelines, codes, and local standards   

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role   

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an integral role in building out our capability and shaping the future. We'd like to find someone with 1 to 3 years' experience  in engineering/loss prevention surveys, whether in industry or the insurance sector.  

  • You display technical expertise in Property exposure identification and control adequacy. 
  • Preferably you have a bachelor’s degree in Science, Safety, Fire Protection, Engineering, or another suitable technical discipline. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills, in native-level Italian. working knowledge of the English language.
  • Business acumen and able to build partnerships with our client base. 
  • The attitude of a true team-player. 
  • The motivation for life-long learning, particularly working with data. 
  • You should be able to integrate AI-driven insights into your work to optimize outcomes and support broader organizational goals.
  • The role requires availability and willingness to undertake business travel.

 

 

Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € 35.000 gross and €45.000 gross.

Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement.

The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
