As part of Allianz Technology Group  Legal Department, you advise within Allianz Technology S.p.A.’s legal team the business of Allianz Technology S.p.A.  in all legal areas (except for tax law). You provide business oriented legal advice to safeguard the interests of the company, to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations and to support and guide the senior management on legal matters. Your focus will be in the areas of IT- and commercial law. . 

You will represent the company towards external partners and government authorities and steer external law firms wherever needed. In your role you will be functionally integrated into the Legal Region 2 team of Allianz Technology which consists of lawyers across several jurisdictions.

 

What you do

 

  • Provide business-oriented legal advice to all levels of management and staff.
  • Monitor, research and address legal issues within the company / branch. 
  • Draft and negotiate IT contracts (e.g. software licenses, SaaS, outsourcing, technology partnership) and commercial services agreements both with third parties and intragroup.
  • Supporting and ensuring compliance with applicable (regulatory) legislation relevant for our business such as NIS2, Dora, AI Act etc. 
  • Ensure implementation of internal governance policies.
  • Raise awareness of, and develop legal risk mitigation measures. 
  • Work with the global Allianz Technology Legal community in developing and enhancing practices and procedures.
  • Work in cross-functional teams as required and in line with evolving business needs and the regulatory environment.
  • Conduct trainings. 
  • Closely follow legislative processes both on a national and international level and help to identify necessary steps for their implementation at Allianz Technology Spa.
  • Oversee and steer external legal counsel, where applicable.

 

What you bring

 

  • a Master Degree in Italian law or a similar qualification that enables you to practice (commercial) law in Italy. Knowledge in the field of insurance regulation is an advantage.
  • 2+ years’ experience working as an in-house attorney in an international company or as an attorney in an international law firm with a focus on IT-, commercial and / or contract law.
  • excellent language skills in Italian and English.
  • a good understanding of the business environment and are eager to work in an international environment.
  • the ability to work well in a team and have excellent communication skills.
  • an entrepreneurial spirit and are well-organized.
  • strong negotiation skills and follow an analytical approach.  
  • the ability to work independently and be a trustful advisor to the local management.
  • a keen attention to details.
