PRICING ACTUARY - P&C

The candidate will support the Pricing Team for Midcorporate across the full spectrum of analysis regarding the development or review of the tariffs and Technical Price for all Non Motor Products with focus on Enterprises.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop technical analyses in alignment with Group Best Practices, following the whole tariff process:
- Data Preparation
- Overall Rate Requirement analysis
- Technical analysis with advanced statistical techniques for risk and behavioural models
- What-if analysis to evaluate the impact of different tariffs on portfolio performance
- Definition of technical requirement for IT implementation regarding tariff and database structure
- Assess on a regular basis the quality and correctness of the models and analyses
- Develop Reports based on forward looking KPIs
- Participate in working groups for the definition of the concept of New Products
- Interface with other corporate functions on business or regulatory issues
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or equivalent field
- Experience (e.g. 2 years or more) in Insurance Companies/Consultancy Firms with strong focus on P&C Pricing projects
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI would be a plus
- Knowledge of GLMs; minimum usage of Machine learning technics would be a plus
- Expertise in coding with Python or R; SQL or SAS
- Knowledge of the whole Tower Watson Suite (Emblem, Radar, Classifier) would be a plus
- Ability to engage and interact with different stakeholders
- Proactive in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leading
- Seeking continuous knowledge improvement regarding business and technical issues, actively proposing ideas to management
- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
