What you do:
The Allianz Brand and Creative Teams are dedicated to delivering bold, compelling brand experiences that resonate across diverse audiences and channels. We support a wide range of initiatives – from engaging financial professionals with our products and thought leadership, to activating our partnerships with the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees and Minnesota United FC, to developing campaigns that advance our business objectives in strategic communications, brand strategy, sustainability, and community engagement.
Our team operates as an in-house agency, partnering across the company to ensure a unified and impactful brand presence. The Copywriter plays a key role in this effort, focusing on the development of corporate marketing content that engages both internal and external audiences and drives measurable results. This role works closely with a dedicated Art Director, forming a creative duo that collaborates to concept, develop, and present strategic ideas and solutions to stakeholders and decision-makers. You will report to the Senior Director of Brand and Advertising.
Job responsibilities:
- Concept, write, and edit compelling copy for a variety of campaign assets, including advertising, marketing collateral, experiential platforms, thought leadership content, infographics, web content, social media, video scripts, and emails
- Learn and embrace the company's voice, tone, and brand guidelines to create memorable, effective, and well-written pieces for both internal and external audiences
- Support the enterprise-wide Brand Review Process by delivering timely content reviews and leading brand education efforts within and beyond the Marketing & Strategy division
- Learn and adopt the creative development and production process to bring ideas to life.
- Become an expert about our brand drivers, business, products, and stakeholders, to better help create great work. Work with legal and compliance feedback on all copy
- Collaborate with fellow creative team members as well as other marketing team members to push the boundaries of creativity and achieve award-worthy standards
- Research writing and visual assets for inspiration for ideas
- Stay updated on web, social, and experiential writing trends and techniques to continuously improve your craft
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
What you bring:
- 4+ years of experience required
- Corporate or creative agency experience demonstrating conceptual thinking, effective and memorable writing, and ideas that sell
- Proven ability to write product, technical, and specialty copy for internal and external audiences
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc.). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship
Base Salary Range $67,000 – 112,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
