What you do:

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will support and manage IT and non IT insurance categories in order to execute sourcing projects that range from simple to complex, from start to finish, including but not limited to – sourcing requests validation per client guidelines, requirements analysis for competitive events ,collaborating with client requesters to close any data gaps, prepare and publish the package to the identified suppliers, following up with suppliers to ensure adequate participation, and summarizing proposals back to the requestor, and working with the  legal team to ensure a robust agreement that hold suppliers accountable for performance is executed.

 

  • Establish and maintain client relationships through all levels of a matrixed organization
  • Partner with clients and IT business partners to ensure their business requirements are incorporated in sourcing strategies and corresponding supplier statements of work.
  • Complete financial and market analysis of supplier products and/or services.
  • Identify opportunities, issues, market conditions, and economic indicators, including upcoming contract expiration, and action plans, to realize cost reductions and mitigate risks associated with SaaS and non IT procurement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of quantitative and qualitative criteria for IT and non IT supplier selection
  • Lead negotiations for SaaS and non IT agreements, effectively negotiate contract terms and conditions and pricing; strong focus on establishing service level agreements that monitor KPIs and hold suppliers accountable for performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ideal contract structures, clauses and language.
  • Coach Business Units on vendor management of their suppliers, and support resolution of supplier performance issues when appropriate.
  • Support continuous improvement of policies, procedures and processes.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

 

 

What you bring:

  • 6-7 years’ experience required: Financial Services Sourcing/Procurement/Contracting experience, knowledge of SaaS, HR, Marketing, Operations, Facilities and professional service contract types, sourcing methods and procedures, performance incentives, and contract law.
  • Four-year degree required: Bachelor's Degree or CPM Certificate or equivalent experience
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

 

Job posting range:  $98,000 - $147,000

 

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
