Key responsibilities

 


The Technical Product Owner plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. He/she is responsible for analyzing and designing technical solutions that meet business needs. This team works closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Software Developers, and Testers to ensure successful project design & delivery. 

 

Also, the Technical Product Owner will play an “Expert Role” in the Incident Management process and the Problem Management process to contribute in identifying the root cause and propose ideas to fix the incidents/problems.

 

Through this role, you will have the main following responsabilities:
 

  1. Requirements Analysis:
    - Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    - Participate in requirement gathering sessions and provide technical insights.

  2. Technical Design:
    - Develop detailed technical designs and specifications based on business requirements.
    - Work with Software Developers to create technical solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and meet the project requirements.

  3. Solution Implementation:
    - Assist in the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring they align with the technical design and business objectives.
    - Provide technical guidance and support during the development phase.

  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    - Act as a liaison between the Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Development team to ensure clear understanding and communication of technical requirements.
    - Conduct regular meetings and discussions with cross-functional teams to address any technical challenges and ensure project alignment.

  5. Quality Assurance:
    - Work with Testers to develop test plans and strategies that ensure the technical solutions meet the required standards.
    - Assist in debugging and resolving technical issues identified during the testing phase.

  6. Documentation:
    - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and system architecture diagrams.

  7. Problem Management:
    - Assist in the identification of the Root Cause of the technical issues related to the Software Application in the PRODUCTION environment.
    - Provide technical guidance and support during the resolution phase.

  8. Incident Management:
    - Assist in the identification of the Root Cause of the Technical Incident related to the Software Application in the PRODUCTION environment.
    - Provide technical guidance and support during the resolution phase

  9. Continuous Improvement:
    - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the technical solutions.
    - Suggest and implement best practices and process improvements within the team.


What you bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 - 8 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Proven experience in a Technical Product Owner role within a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in technical documentation and requirements analysis.
  • Very good command of English language skills.
  • Very good Interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills especially for non-technical people.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Deep experience in Designing systems and Scales.
