Full-Stack Data Scientist (m/f/d)

What you do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics team within the Chief Data Office. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts across various business domains to develop and implement data-driven solutions that address complex challenges and drive strategic decision-making. You will leverage your expertise in data analytics and machine learning to extract actionable insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes, helping to accelerate our organization’s transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage Python, SQL, and data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn) to clean, analyze, and manipulate datasets effectively.
• Build, optimize, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage, process, and analyze large datasets, ensuring security and scalability.
• Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to address complex business challenges, delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment and enhance scalability of machine learning models.
• Rapidly prototype interactive data applications using tools like Streamlit, Dash, or similar, enabling stakeholders to explore data and model outputs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data insights into actionable business strategies and solutions.
• Present findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.

What you bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using frameworks like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, Shapely, Plotly, Streamlit, MLFlow, and SQLAlchemy.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing with a proven ability to develop and deploy ML models in production environments.
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
• Proficiency in working with SQL databases, with experience in NoSQL databases being a plus.
• Experience with GitHub, including workflows for version control, collaboration, and code management.
• Ability to take ownership, develop concepts, and drive ML models through to implementation.
• Experience working in agile methodologies within fast-paced, dynamic, and international environments.
• Strong intercultural sensitivity and prior experience working in an international context.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, and negotiation with both technical and non-technical audiences.
