Role Purpose

 

Join Allianz's Central Bank Accounting Team as a dedicated team member responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient banking suspense clearance and monthly result processing. This role involves bank reconciliation, processing Blackline reconciliation, handling bank bookings (such as bank charges/fees), and collaborating with various teams and business units to achieve key performance indicators and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation and finalize monthly results processing.
  • Clear banking suspense accounts and track open items efficiently.
  • Process Blackline reconciliations and manage bank bookings.
  • Collaborate with team members and business units to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Focus on achieving objectives with precision and efficiency

Profile Key Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Semi-qualified Accountant/B.Com/M.Com/MBA, Inter-CA/CMA.
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation, especially using tools like Blackline.
  • Experience with suspense clearing and tracking open items.
  • Familiarity with Blackline's reconciliation and accounting automation tools.
  • Knowledge of cash pooling concepts and experience with cash concentration and netting.
  • Understanding of investment booking processes and experience with central portfolio management systems.
  • Experience with FX reconciliation and variance posting

System Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP, Blackline tool, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis

Initiative

  • Self-driven and confident in analyzing suspense accounts and providing outcomes

Teamwork

  • Coordinate with banking and other teams globally to clear open items

Other Skills:

  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions, reconciliations, and postings.

Customer Service

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders, including finance teams and other departments globally
