Whether it’s aircraft, international business or offshore wind parks, Allianz Commercial has an extensive range of risks covered when it comes to protecting businesses.
We are looking for a Salesforce Solutions Manager, who will be based in our New York office. This will be a hybrid role.
Your Team
Allianz Commercial is a leading global corporate insurance carrier. We provide risk consultancy, Property-Casualty insurance solutions and alternative risk transfer for a wide spectrum of commercial, corporate and specialty risks across 10 dedicated lines of business. The North America Distribution team supports large corporate and specialty business expansion across North America.
The Impact You Will Have
The Salesforce Solutions Manager will configure, maintain, and evolve Salesforce (SFDC) to enable North America Distribution to execute broker engagement, pipeline management, front-door metrics, and account-level reporting. This role is critical to converting SFDC capabilities into actionable commercial insights that drive profitable growth, prioritization, and resource allocation.
The role partners closely with Distribution leaders, CUO/Product teams, and the CTO organization to ensure SFDC data integrity, alignment with enterprise data standards, and agility within the broader tech stack. Acting as the “first line” of SFDC support for Distribution, the Manager will deliver configuration changes, dashboards, and process improvements that maintain global standards while enabling Distribution’s “last mile” of sales data (e.g., pipeline adequacy, front-door metrics by LOB/broker/zone).
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
-
Configure and customize SFDC objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and layouts to support Distribution’s commercial use cases.
-
Manage user setup, license allocation, roles, profiles, and access permissions across Distribution and underwriting teams.
-
Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports for Distribution and CUO/Product, aligned with CTO and Finance standards; deliver on the “last mile” of sales data.
-
Coordinate regional and global SFDC updates, including testing, feedback, and UAT for new capabilities.
-
Submit, track, and validate enhancement, operational, and bug requests on behalf of Distribution and GBO stakeholders.
-
Create and execute bulk upload requests in collaboration with GBO and user teams.
-
Ensure SFDC accurately captures submissions, pipeline milestones, CRM activity, and front-door metrics to inform broker & client engagement and planning.
-
Support data quality checks, troubleshoot issues across submission intake and pipeline flow, and partner with CTO’s Data team on corrective actions.
-
Translate business needs into SFDC enhancements that support targeting, execution, retention, and Distribution’s commercial growth priorities.
-
Provide recurring and ad-hoc reporting (e.g., pipeline adequacy, broker ratios) and validate SFDC data against CUO/Finance sources; collaborate with CTO office colleagues.
-
Serve as Distribution’s liaison to global SFDC teams, CUO/Product, and CTO, participating in governance forums and representing North America requirements.
-
Deliver SFDC training and ongoing support for Distribution, GBO, CUO/Product, and Underwriting; maintain job aids and resolve user requests.
