About the role

  • Cultivate and lead communication strategies to position Allianz Technology Australia within global networks, ensuring the Australian branch’s initiatives and successes are clearly and warmly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Craft and implement communication plans that beautifully articulate the vision and benefits of change initiatives, creating engaging and consistent materials across all channels.
  • Nurture strategies for both internal and external brand positioning, including thought leadership and content creation, while safeguarding and enhancing the organization's reputation.
  • Coordinate and deliver events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale international conferences, ensuring they reflect strategic priorities and provide enriching brand experiences.
  • Embrace advanced methodologies to develop change management strategies, support the adoption of new processes, and lead the Centre of Excellence for communication and change, fostering best practices and organizational growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to gather insights, influence executives, and implement governance frameworks to track and report on the success of initiatives, ensuring transparency and collaboration.

 

About you

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications or Organisational Development, with a preference for a Master's degree, and brings over 10 years of senior-level experience in strategic communications, change management, and stakeholder engagement within a global context.
  • Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, adept at translating complex concepts into clear insights, and excels in building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels with empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrates a strong track record in managing large-scale events and establishing governance frameworks for communication and change, showcasing strategic thinking, adaptability, and a proactive, results-oriented approach validated by KPIs and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrates talent in nurturing brand, reputation, and thought leadership strategies for both internal and external positioning, with a wealth of experience in social media and external communications. This includes crafting strategies, creating engaging content, and monitoring outcomes with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Extensive experience in designing, executing, and guiding successful enterprise-wide change initiatives, with oversight and management of large-scale transformations across diverse regions and business divisions. This includes a comprehensive understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter), and a proven track record in developing and implementing formal governance and metrics for change programs.
  • Adept at serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and/or board members, with a history of effectively influencing decisions at the highest level, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and collaborative leadership.
  • Possesses recent, senior-level experience across all essential criteria and be ready to seamlessly step into the role from day one, showcasing confidence, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges without requiring additional training or ramp-up time.
