What you do
Operations managership:
- Lead and manage a team responsible for policy implementation/ contract management/ customer accounting/ accounts receivables/ dunning.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to ensure high performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set individual and team goals.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate the team.
- Allocate resources, establish goals, and monitor team performance.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Processes expertise:
- Accurately allocate incoming payments based on the details provided by customers.
- Ensure all payments are recorded correctly and promptly in the system.
- Perform clearing on customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate account balances.
- Facilitate payments and refunds to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all payment transactions.
- Execute timely computation and payment of broker commissions.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in all broker commission transactions.
Policy Lifecycle Management:
- Familiarize oneself with the stages and timelines of the policy lifecycle.
- Align task execution with each stage of the policy lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as underwriting and claims, to ensure seamless integration of tasks within the policy lifecycle.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and enhance contract management processes, templates, and tools.
- Develop and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and ensure smooth contract handover.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including sales, procurement, legal, and finance teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their contract management needs and provide effective solutions.
- Serve as a point of contact for any contract-related queries or escalations.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on contract performance, compliance, and key metrics.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Solid understanding of Data Analytics is necessary, including the ability to implement solutions and optimize processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract management/ customer accounting/ accounts receivables or dunning within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
