Purpose of the Role
As an Underwriting Manager, you will responsible for managing complex and high-value underwriting cases, ensuring that all risk assessments and decisions are made in accordance with the company's underwriting philosophy, risk appetite, and treaty provisions. Your role serves as the primary point of coordination with reinsurers for case referrals, treaty interpretations, and facultative placements. You will also lead capability development initiatives for HNW underwriting - including technical training, mentoring, and skills enhancements.

Requirements for the Role
- Graduate of any 4 year course, preferably in Medical Science
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Life and Health Insurance underwriting, with demonstrated expertise in HNW reinsurance negotiations and case placements
- Technical Coaching and Mentoring
- Excellent Communication Skills
- FLMI or FALU Designation is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience with AI-driven adaptive learning technologies and data analysis for personalized training.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for content recommendation, automated assessment, and feedback.
