Join the Group Document, Input and Output Management Tribe at Allianz Trade, part of the Group Organisation & Change team. This team drives the transformation of how the organization handles incoming and outgoing information and documents, defining product vision and strategy based on customer needs and business goals.
You will be part of JADE Mail-to-Ticket, an AI-powered agentic system that automates the creation of customer service tickets from incoming emails - reducing manual effort for Customer Service and Risk teams. The project is live in Germany and Italy, and is being rolled out globally.
We are looking for a motivated intern to support across AI validation & monitoring, business analysis, product definition, and agile activities, collaborating closely with IT engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders across multiple countries.
Your Role:
AI Validation & Monitoring
- Validate AI outputs against reference data sources (human-over-the-loop approach): compare extracted fields against authoritative backend systems
- API testing and test automation using scripting (Python, JavaScript)
- AI/LLM performance monitoring and trace analysis
- Weekly KPI calculation and statistical reporting on AI performance (conversion rate, extraction accuracy, failure rate, classification accuracy)
- Edge case identification and structured bug documentation
Product Support & Test Management
- User Story writing following the INVEST methodology
- Acceptance criteria definition and writing in Gherkin syntax (GIVEN / WHEN / THEN)
- Test case creation, execution, and tracking in Jira
- Backlog refinement support (grooming, sizing, dependency mapping)
- Sprint ceremony support (planning, review, retrospective notes & follow-up)
Business Analysis & KPI Reporting
- KPI definition, tracking, and weekly statistical reporting on AI performance trends (per country, per field, over time)
- New feature scoping and structured bug definition (context, steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual)
- Contribution to go/no-go evaluation reports for country rollouts (Italy, UK, CEE and beyond)
- Stakeholder communication support (meeting minutes, action items)
Agility & Communication
- Kanban board management
- Example Mapping facilitation support
- Newsletter drafting (project updates, go-live announcements, user group communications)
- Onboarding documentation for new testers and country teams
Your Profile:
- Currently completing a Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and statistical skills
- Comfortable writing scripts in Python and/or JavaScript
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in following up on tasks
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman or equivalent)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Example Mapping)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
- Interest in artificial intelligence and LLM-based systems
- French and/or German language skills
