You will report to the Allianz Trade Business Controller for France. You will support the Gearshift Allianz Trade project (internal carve-out and transfer of people and contracts to Allianz Technology) by managing and securing the budget (run and projects) for consulting activities, as well as reporting any deviations to stakeholders. In parallel, you will assist the Controlling team in performing standard controlling tasks.

 

As such, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Monitoring deviations between actuals and the plan for consulting activities, analyzing deviations and their causes,
  • Ensuring proper allocation of consulting costs within the cost center structure based on the activities performed (run, projects),
  • Ensuring accurate monthly billing reporting to customers and provision calculations,
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance,
  • Collaborating with the Senior Finance Manager and Senior Controller to efficiently steer the profit and loss statement,
  • Providing financial analyses, reports, and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly),
  • Contributing to the development of guidelines, methods, best practices, processes, and systems in the controlling area,
  • Participating in financial projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.

Required Skills

 

You are a Master's student in the field of Finance or Accounting.

You have strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

You are well-organized and have excellent time management skills.

You have strong communication and interpersonal skills in a hybrid environment and can work effectively in a team.

You have a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

You are proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel/Power Query and PowerPoint.

You are fluent in English and French.

A willingness to learn and explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance your role and the organization as a whole is expected.

Additional Information

 

Contract: Apprenticeship.
