We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Principal Consultant to join our CIO Advisory practice area, located in Paris (France) and support us on a broad range of operations streamlining projects of different scope and complexity.  

Our CIO Advisory team focuses on:

• IT strategy: helping Allianz Group entities define and steer their IT strategy and digital transformation roadmap in line with business objectives.
• Organizational streamlining: rethinking and optimizing IT organizations, governance, and ways of working to enhance efficiency and delivery performance.
• Expertise and project management: bringing functional and technical expertise to support the design, structuring, and management of IT and digital projects across the Group.
• Support on emerging technologies: advising clients on Generative AI and other emerging technologies, and supporting their adoption to drive innovation and business value.

Key Responsibilities / You will get to:

• Deliver engagements under the guidance of an Allianz Consulting Engagement Manager, ensuring compliance with project timelines and deliverables. You will solve client challenges, facilitate workshops and meetings, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and perform both strategic and operational project activities.
• Support existing clients while contributing to the effective management of key accounts.
• Contribute to the growth of Allianz Consulting by identifying opportunities with clients, participating in the development of commercial proposals, and supporting teams in preparing new offerings and projects.
• Share ideas with the Engagement Manager on potential client needs that may lead to new project opportunities.
• Contribute to Allianz Consulting internal initiatives.

Key requirements/What we hope you bring:

• Operational insurance business and/or IT/digital transformation consultancy experience for more than 7 years
• Proven track record in supporting IT strategy definition, organizational streamlining, or IT project management within large, complex organizations
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of AI frameworks, leverage AI tools in everyday tasks, and consult clients on AI adoption and emerging technologies
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service and support
• Strong team player with exceptional assertiveness and the ability to thrive under pressure with limited guidance, consistently meeting demanding deadlines
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French
• Master's degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Desired requirements /skills /experience

• International professional experience
• Proficiency in project management and performance management tools (KPIs, dashboards, benchmarking)
