Account Manager – Customer & Operations (Motor) – WA

About the role

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for Partner accounts to achieve revenue and sales targets, while identifying opportunities for growth within existing portfolios.
  • Build strong Partner relationships by understanding current and future needs, proposing suitable products and services, and acting as the primary interface to ensure high service levels.
  • Drive sustainable, profitable growth through effective sales methodologies, negotiation, performance monitoring, and alignment to agreed strategies and operational benchmarks.
  • Implement robust account retention and defence strategies, ensuring Partners remain engaged and supported while meeting all compliance and legislative requirements.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce KPIs and fulfil supervision and monitoring obligations, ensuring disciplined account management and informed decisionmaking.

 

About you

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, BDM or Relationship Manager, ideally working with automotive partners, dealerships or similar. Insurance industry will be preferred but not essential.
  • Strong ability to understand market and Partner needs, integrate into the Partner’s operating rhythm, and identify, pursue, and close business development opportunities that drive organisational profitability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels with clarity and impact.
  • Skilled at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry presence, exchange knowledge, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and commercial skills, with the ability to translate Partner requirements into actionable opportunities and deliver highquality account management outcomes.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
