We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and reliable individual with a background in economics or mathematics, who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is ready to take ownership of meaningful investment analysis and strategy work. Your responsibilities:

Programme:

As part of your onboarding and early development, you will go through a learning path combining hands-on experience, cooperation across Allianz teams, and project-based assignments. You will be closely involved in key investment processes and decision-making forums, gaining a strong understanding of how we manage insurance and pension portfolios at Allianz.

Team:

You will be joining our Investment Strategy team, where your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development of ALM (Asset-Liability Management) analyses
• Contributing to the strategic and benchmark asset allocation of investment portfolios
• Analyzing performance, risk parameters, and portfolio structures, and proposing improvements
• Participating in local and international projects (e.g. group-wide ALM and portfolio tools)
• Preparing and presenting inputs for the Investment and Risk Committees
• Generating both regular and ad hoc internal and external investment reports
• Cooperating with risk, actuarial, accounting, and regional investment teams within Allianz Group
• Monitoring and planning investment results with focus on long-term sustainability

Qualifications and skills:

Education: University degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or related field

Experience:

• Solid knowledge of financial markets and investment products
• Understanding of investment accounting and securities valuation
• Experience working with data, investment analysis or risk modelling is an advantage

Languages:

• English – fluent (spoken, written, presenting in global forums)
• Czech – communicative (ability to work in a local team environment)

Other skills:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Clear and confident communication of complex results
• Comfortable using Excel and data tools; openness to digital tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot
• Reliability, independence, and a desire to grow professionally

Rotations:

To support your growth and broaden your perspective, we offer a variety of rotation opportunities across the Allianz Group. These are clearly defined as potential development paths and will be jointly discussed and tailored to each candidate. Possible rotations include:

• Investment Teams in other Allianz Central Europe entities

• Risk Teams in other Allianz Central Europe entities

• Investment Analytics or comparable teams at Allianz Global Investors

• Finance Team at Allianz Czech Republic

• And more – to be discussed jointly with the candidate

These experiences will give you exposure to different regulatory environments, investment strategies, and international collaboration practices.
