Pricing Specialist

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Pricing Specialist to join our company. The job holder will contribute in developing and implementing advanced risk and demand models using cutting-edge data analysis, machine learning, and innovative methodologies. They will also support strategic initiatives to enhance pricing capabilities, as well as technical excellence, and drive business performance in alignment with Allianz Group standards.
This role reports to the Pricing Manager.

What you will do

• Develop and utilize state of the art algorithms in the fields of machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining and AI
• Assist with technical price reviews, including risk and demand models, identifying market segment opportunities as part of the review process
• Work closely with Actuarial, Sales, Underwriting and Claims Departments for developing new products or enhance existing ones while contributing to the strategic and planning dialogue of the company
• Assist in development and maintenance of Rating tools
• Support the portfolio management process
• Work towards implementation of Technical Excellence through the implementation of Allianz Group methodologies

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Engineering; Master’s degree will be considered an asset (Actuarial Science, Data Science, Econometrics etc.)
• 2-5 years of working experience to same or other similar business function
• Proven knowledge of statistical and data science techniques, such as Generalized Linear Models
• Intermediate knowledge of R, Python ,SAS and SQL are key pre-requisites
• Actuarial certification in progress with actuarial exams of Hellenic or other society of actuaries will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of Actuarial Pricing softwares such as Emblem and Radar will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI will be considered an asset
• Excellent MS office skills are a must
• High technical fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
• Project and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
