  • We are looking for data scientists who are excited to work on a combination of analytics and reporting projects. The ideal candidate will have good Machine Learning/Deep learning knowledge, and hands on experience solving complex real-world ML/DL problems. We want people who are excited to solve the hard problems and ready to make business impact in areas related to Finance, Claims, Operations or any other ongoing research into the organization
  • Apply analytics thinking to the problem at hand to enable better problem solving and enable data driven decisions for the customer
  • Portfolio forecasting – Develop streamlit app for interactive forecasting.
  • Enhance forecasting models for portfolio and claims, ensuring improved accuracy and speed using Python.
  • Support customer analytics by creating datasets and reports that drive actionable insights using Power BI.
  • Run internal established processes with data preparation, reporting, reconciliation and organise peer reviews 
  • Build, maintain and document data and management information reporting processes
  • Develop data engineering and data modelling skillset
  • Collaborate with the relevant colleagues, sharing knowledge and developing new products and solutions to business problems 
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards
  • Support organisational wide strategic projects 
  • Create and sustain strong working relationships with all internal and Allianz group stakeholders 
  • Participate in squad group projects, as required

Qualification & Experience

 

  • 3-4 years of experience in Data science and PowerBI
  • B.Tech/B.E/MCA or Mtech in Computer science/electronics/electrical engineering/Statistics tier 1
  • colleges / universities.
  • Knowledge of Data science, machine learning (deep learning is a plus)
  • Knowledge of PowerBI
  • Experience in Azure is a plus
  • Knowledge of relevant data manipulation software, e.g. SAS, Python, SQL
  • Well-developed analytical, logical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced ability to perform exploratory data analysis, visualize data and answer business questions with data and analytics
  • Familiarity with data management tools
  • Working knowledge of Statistics and familiarity with common data science toolkits
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) & technical writing skills
  • Problem Solving with an ability to identify gaps in processes and procedures and improve them
  • Competent with MS Office software with VBA a desirable skillset
