Manager-IT Procurement

Role & responsibilities :
- Manage and handle IT hw/sw/Prof Services from category management perspective.
- Planning strategies for IT spend aligning to Global Procurement.
- Early involvement with stakeholder for their requirements.
- Signing contracts to avoid reactive purchases.
- Category Management for all responsible categories
- Category spend Analysis
- Cost savings initiatives
- Identifying areas of improvement and enhancing infra services
Stakeholder Management
Preferred candidate profile :
- Collaboration with IT/DP/Info Sec/Legal department and other Cross functions
- Stakeholder education on Procurement Process
- Analysing and executing High value IT Projects
- Vendor Management for respective categories
- Implementing good practices
- Procurement Governance and control
- Support for Internal/External Audits
- Team performance evaluations
- Team growth and learning
PR/PO/Contract management
Experience Eligibility:
- Candidates with a total relevant experience of 10-12 years (preferably IT/ITES industry) in IT Procurement
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-changing, demanding environment.
- Willingness to be hands on is essential.
- Must have experience in IT category Procurement domain.
- Strong knowledge of local taxation
- Good analytical skills essential
Education Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline. (PG preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal, facilitation and negotiating skills.
