- Participate in estimation, project reviews, approvals, and ensure the appropriate and relevant level of quality is in place for all phases of projects.
- Release readiness review meetings, Business Go/No-Go decision meetings & reviews, Milestone tracking and reviews.
- Establish the programs and projects for the team to plan and execute in order for the product area to be successful at scale.
- Ensure projects have requirements documented and agreed to ensure that project activity meets agreed project objectives
- Produce agreed levels of Portfolio reporting on all projects being delivered, including progress, problems & resolutions; with stakeholders & leadership meetings/calls. Track and reports project KPIs – Ramp-up Indicators, Operational & Efficiency KPIs and Financial KPIs.
- Engage with Program leads, Portfolio owners, to streamline the processes, simplify the execution with actionable plans, on time releases, bring in tools for improving efficiency, help the teams engaged within execution.
- Develop and deliver strategic plans for executive audiences.
- Manage medium to large programs, involving cross functional team (distributed), and also leading external vendors/contracts in the execution of a program.
- Evaluate the project for opportunities to improve performances, continuously monitoring risk and mitigating as appropriate.
- Build key relationships with team members, customers and suppliers as needed to execute the programs.
- Provide leadership, strategy & vision in areas of technology development to facilitate and enable growth & business agility.
- Expert in agile/scrum principles and methodology.
- Drive the adoption and enforcement of Scrum rules, Remove impediments and foster self-management. Apply expert judgment to the removal of impediments, Keep teams focused and Deliver success in rapidly evolving and dynamic environments.
- Proficiently organize and facilitate Scrum events, Maintains Scrum artifacts & Manage Scrum Boards (Jira). Managing cross functional dependencies across multiple teams by conducting Scrum of Scrums / dependencies meetings and align on the release window cycles across cross functional teams.
- Efficient organizer, motivator, team player and a decisive leader with the ability to motivate teams to excel and win. Empower teams through a focus on constructive retrospectives and incorporate learnings from retrospectives.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress and other agile metrics.
- Ensure successful Delivery & Transition of complex projects with geographically distributed stakeholders, through Collaboration, Proper Planning, Timely Communication, Risk and Resource management.
- Experienced in Guiding, coaching and delegating tasks and responsibilities within project teams. Articulate project goals & scope, Translate the business needs to technical terms, Prepare detailed work break down, share the responsibility & accountability for achieving project milestones.
- Communicate with other management, engineers, product managers and support specialists on product issues.
- Monitoring project progress & outstanding issues and ensuring quality & timeliness of deliverables; extending post-implementation support to team members by identifying defects, questionable functions & errors.
