Principal IT Architect – Agentic AI & Data Platforms

Description

Are you excited about architecting large-scale enterprise platforms that power both advanced Agentic AI solutions and robust data ecosystems?

Join us as a Principal IT Architect and shape the architectural foundation of our Agentic AI Solutions Hub and enterprise-wide Data Platforms. In this role, you will define and govern architectures that enable scalable, compliant, and reusable AI and data capabilities across a highly regulated, multi-cloud environment.

You will drive the architecture for Agentic AI systems (AI agents, MCP servers, orchestration layers) as well as foundational data platforms, data pipelines, feature stores, and governance frameworks. Operating Entities will rely on your architectural leadership to rapidly build, extend, and deploy both AI-driven workflows and data-centric solutions on top of shared enterprise platforms.

By combining strong architectural vision with hands-on technical depth, you will ensure that the organization can adopt next‑generation AI while maintaining robust data quality, lineage, governance, and compliance.

What you do

Platform Architecture Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end architecture of the Agentic AI Solutions Hub and enterprise Data Platforms.
• Define architectural standards spanning AI agents, MCP servers, data pipelines, data governance services, and orchestration layers.
• Drive modular, composable, and reusable architectures for both AI and data services across the organization.

Data Platform & AI Foundation

• Architect multi-cloud data platforms across Azure, Databricks, and AWS, ensuring interoperability, lineage, governance, and platform reliability.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, storage, cataloging, feature engineering, and consumption patterns in alignment with AI needs.
• Ensure data availability, data readiness, and data controls that enable safe and compliant Agentic AI operations.

Enterprise-Scale AI Architecture

• Ensure AI agents, agent orchestration, prompt engineering components, and supporting services integrate seamlessly with enterprise data assets.
• Provide architectural direction for Agentic AI use cases, ensuring scalability, performance, observability, and resilience.

Governance, Compliance, and Security

• Design architectures that meet strict regulatory, security, risk, and data privacy requirements in a financial-services environment.
• Govern platform blueprints, reference architectures, and controls across AI and data.

Collaboration & Advisory

• Work closely with engineering, platform, ML/AI, data, security, and compliance teams.
• Offer architectural guidance to Operating Entities building both data-driven and Agentic AI use cases.
• Provide design assurance, threat modeling, and long-term technical stewardship.

What you bring

• Strong experience architecting enterprise-scale AI and data platforms.
• Deep understanding of multi-cloud architectures across Azure, Databricks, and AWS.
• Expertise in data platform architecture: data lakes, data mesh, Delta Lake, metadata management, and data governance.
• Proven ability to design modular, reusable, and secure architectures for AI agents and supporting data environments.
• Strong grounding in cloud-native, distributed, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience delivering platforms in highly regulated industries with rigorous governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic delivery across cross-functional engineering teams.
