Specialist-IT & Information Security

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Security Consultant with strong project management skills to join our team. In this dual-focused role, you will not only provide expert security consulting services but also lead and manage security engagements from inception to completion. Your ability to seamlessly integrate security expertise with project management will be key to ensuring successful outcomes for our clients. Your expertise will be vital in driving successful outcomes and maintaining strong partnerships with both clients and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures.
• Develop and implement robust security strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate potential risks.
• Lead security engagements, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Overseer penetration test engagements & manage demands.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Facilitate effective communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
• Communicate effectively with clients & team members, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
• Conduct engagement reviews and post-implementation evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future project delivery.
• Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner.
• Create, review, revise, and maintain technical documents and user documentation.

Experience, Technical & Functional Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree with a technical focus or in a related discipline or comparable work experience
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in managing security projects, from planning through to execution and closure.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects and challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in dealing with demanding customers, preferably in the financial sector.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Identity Manager etc.
