Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Work on system integrations, data migration, and database enhancements.
- Support production systems and participate in on-call activities when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DBAs, testers, and business analysts.
- Ensure code quality, documentation, and compliance with internal development standards.
- Participate in full SDLC activities: design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with 5 – 8 yrsOracle Forms (10g/11g/12c) and Oracle Reports.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Good understanding of Oracle Database (10g/11g/12c) concepts.
- Experience in application debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Oracle APEX, Java, or migration from Oracle Forms to newer technologies.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Understanding of version control tools like Git or SVN.
