SENIOR RISK PREVENTION ENGINEER

Job Purpose/Role
Reporting to the Risk Prevention Engineering Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the risk prevention strategy for the Corporate Client and Constructions risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate growth and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure risk visits and provide Allianz group standard reporting on both risk assessment as well as risk improvement.
- Implement consistently the Risk Assessment Review Criteria plan.
- Proactively liaise with underwriting areas to support underwriting activities and a comprehensive risk understanding.
- Ensure engineering consistency, discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines, including Rules and Principles, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
- Proactively support the underwriting unit to develop and implement new and/or modified products.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- Master’s degree in industrial, Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years' proven experience in Risk Prevention Engineering for corporate and construction risks as well as Engineering Professional Firms
- Proven leadership skills.
- Expertise in risk assessment, both corporate and construction, for property, risk engineering and liability business
- Ideally experience in driving projects
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work in an international organization
- Data analytics
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken
- Very good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tool
