The position holder will be responsible for the performance steering of Pension & Asset Management business in the region, including driving productivity and growth initiatives and the monitoring of the respective Key Performance Indicators. In addition, the role will focus on the coverage of dedicated Operating Entities. Support of the regular closing processes in Life & Health segment, as well as contribution to the local and regional Planning and Strategic Dialogues (SD and PD) preparation are expected, too.

 

What you do:

  • Performance steering for Life & Health segment with specific focus on Pension & Asset Management, as well as dedicated OEs in the region.
  • Contribute to regular closing processes with focus on Life & Health.
  • Support the preparation of local and regional PDs and SDs.
  • Support management in financial decision making: support regional CFO in developing regional finance function and improve OE performance, prepare financial analysis and conduct deep dives

 

What you bring:

  • Relevant professional experience (3-5 years) in Finance, preferably in a global organization.
  • Proficiency in business English. Proficiency in German and/or other languages in the CE region is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously within pre-defined scope of work.
  • Strong team player and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds, functions and cultures.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Power Point a must; proficiency in PowerBI or other analytical tools will be considered an advantage
  • L/H Actuary or strong mathematical/quantitative background is an advantage.
  • Basic familiarity with available AI tools such as ChatGPT is an advantage.

 

Job information:

Start date: asap | Working hours: 40 hours per week | Location: ICON Towers - directly at Vienna Central Station, 1100 Vienna |

Annual gross salary: 60,000 EUR (full-time basis). Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
