We are now inviting applications for the newly established role of Regional Sales Manager Nordics.
The role:
Achieve portfolio targets through the acquisition of new customers to execute Allianz Trade for Multinationals (MNC) Growth plan
Main tasks:
Reach portfolio growth and quality targets by:
- Developing effective sales strategies through all distribution channels
- Acquiring new customers based on own leads and prospects lists, as defined in the MNC Marketing plan
- Running local marketing actions with the support of Market Management for events organization
- Tracking sales activity in CRM systems (Copernicus, pipeline management tool...)
Responsible for the prospecting and customer acquisition processes, from the qualification of the opportunity up to the Business Implementation and signature of the Master Agreement, including:
- The full assessment of the prospect's needs so a complete profile can be created using the New Sales Architecture
- The review of the risk appetite and capacity for potential World Programs with Risk Organisation
- The agreement on precheck strategy, the creation and negotiation of the most appropriate proposal in line with the application of commercial underwriting guidelines, authority rules and standards
- The identification and validation of commercial terms, conditions and price and the creation of the offer including the prechecks results
- The full creation and formalization of the Master Agreement and program implementation set up
Responsible for developing Nordic specific growth strategy and coordinating activities with local Nordic Business Units, in close alignment with North Star initiative including mid-size Multinationals.
- Take personal responsibility for the implementation of group-wide quality of service standards
- Service existing brokers based on broker segmentation
- Interact closely with other core functions (i.e., Risk) and other MNC Teams (Central Team, Account Manager, etc.), as well as MNC and Group projects
- Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of customer portfolio
- Manage, lead and train Sales Support to guarantee proper program acquisition and implementation standards

- Ability to generate new business opportunities and convert them into profitable long-term relationships
- Acquires new customers
- Build and enhance relationships with both brokers and customers
Key Performance Indicators:
- Business growth (profitable top line development)
- Quality and follow up of MNC Commercial UW standards and guidelines (BUC, MA…)
- Deal team management to ensure full organisational engagement
Knowledge / Experience / Skills required:
- Advanced knowledge of the credit insurance industry, products and regulations
- Advanced knowledge of regional and multinational market specifics
- Advanced ability to manage multidimensional channels
- Advanced ability to build extensive networks with close contacts to market players and opinion leaders
- Advanced ability to negotiate with customers in order to achieve results
- Advanced ability to generate and convert leads
- Advanced ability to achieve challenging goals through organisation and personal drive
- Advanced ability to manage projects
- Advanced ability to communicate well via all mediums (eg. email, phone) and at all levels of an organisation within a multicultural setting
- Advanced ability to operate in a matrix structure
- Competent knowledge of basic IT systems (eg. MS Word, Excel) and ability to learn new systems
- Expert knowledge of written and spoken English
- Fluency in at least one of the Nordic languages (DK,SE,NO,FI)
- Local market network and prospect pipeline
- Knowledge of finance and e-commerce specifics within Credit Insurance sector
- Foundational understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and applications, eager to explore its potential in various business contexts
