Job Purpose/Role

This role will support Planning and Strategic Dialogues (SD and PD) preparation across all functions regionally, coordinate monthly closing process, steer performance of several large OEs in the region, including driving productivity and other business initiatives. Strong focus is on Life & Health insurance and the steering of the respective Key Performance Indicators.

 

Future challenges: Support development and transition of local and regional Finance function toward one regional Finance function.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support management in financial decision making: support regional CFO in developing regional finance function and improve OE performance, prepare financial analysis and conduct deep dives, support the preparation of PDs and SDs.
  • Performance controlling for several OEs: Monitor and challenge performance of several OEs in the region.
  • Coordinate and support financial reporting: prepare regular financial reports to various stakeholders (e.g. Group quarterly reporting package, Early Indication, Monthly OnePager report
  • Expenses and productivity: support in setting productivity initiatives and monitor delivery.

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Relevant professional experience, preferably in a global organization
  • Proficiency in business English. Proficiency in German and/or other languages in the CE region is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.
  • L/H Actuary or strong mathematical/actuarial background is an advantage.
  • Good ability to work autonomously within pre-defined parameters.
  • Strong team player and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds, functions and cultures.
  • Basic familiarity with available AI tools such as ChatGPT

 

For this position we offer a yearly gross salary of at least EUR 80.000 gross (full-time basis). Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
