Qualification, Experience and Skills
Essential:
- SME in Continuous Integration/Delivery practices
- Administration of source code management systems and branching strategies
- Experience of building and deploying large-scale Java or .Net applications
- Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure IaaS and PaaS)
- Excellent understanding of change control and deployment practices
- Expert knowledge in more than one of the following:
- Build automation tools (Gradle & Maven)
- Jenkins
- GIT
- Artifactory - JFrog
- Serena
- Knowledge of Windows (server) or Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Jboss is preferred
- Exposure to Groovy, Powershell and bash programming/scripting languages
- Security best practices
- Software development and design best practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with ability to mentor less experienced members of the team
Desirable:
- Handson experience in ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of automated testing best practices
- Experience of automating environment configuration management.
- Knowledge of Release management best practises.
