If you are passionate about engineering and want to join an innovative company, Allianz Engineering Inspection Services has an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently hiring a number of  Apprentice Engineer Surveyors who live within England.

 

This is your chance to launch an exciting career doing what you love - getting hands-on with the latest equipment and technology. You'll inspect a variety of equipment including lifts, cranes, construction machinery and more, getting out in the field and getting your hands dirty. As part of your apprenticeship, you will be given a bespoke training plan that includes spending time training on-site and learning in the classroom at Fareham College. Don't worry about the costs - we cover it all! When you complete the apprenticeship, you'll join us full-time with the skills and knowledge to excel.

Salary Information

 

Pay: Starting salary £36,314 per year.

 

About You

 

  • Passionate about engineering, self-driven with the ability to interact with a variety of clients daily
  • Committed to learning through on-the-job activities and academic studies that can be in-person, on-line or self-lead
  • Have a passion for self-development and building a successful career with Allianz
  • Time management skills are essential as you will be required to independently organise your week's work in an effective manner
  • Good computer literacy skills - tablets and smartphones are crucial tools for an Engineer Surveyor, you will need to be comfortable using these as part of your working day
  • Strong customer interaction skills are essential, including good oral and written communication skills

 

On successful completion of the SAFed Affiliated Engineer Surveyor 2 Year Apprenticeship Scheme you will be:

  • Awarded a Level 4 Apprenticeship as an Engineer Surveyor
  • Have a competency rating against SAFed SS01 as a Category 2 Engineer Surveyor
  • Obtain professional registration at EngTech level and become a Member of the Society of Operational Engineers (MSOE)
  • On successful completion of your Level 4 qualification, you will join Allianz Engineering Inspection Services as a full-time permanent employee.

 

Essential Skills

 

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant engineering experience, of which one provides general knowledge of plant and systems or services in the intended discipline of Lift & Crane. 
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in an Engineering related subject (i.e., Technical Certificate minimum T3 level, NVQ level 3, or equivalent)
  • A valid full UK drivers licence holder

 

Desirable Skills

 

  • Level 2 (GCSE Grade 4 / Grade C) English and Maths are required to complete the apprenticeship. These can be obtained as part of the apprenticeship.
