Key Responsibilities

This is a 24 month contract position to develop the new reporting structure in APAC for ITMP Roll out.

1. APAC Reporting Consolidation. Define and govern “One version of truth” for APAC reporting

  • Consolidate reporting requirements across:
    • Commercial, Finance, Claims, Policy Management, etc.
  • Rationalize:
    • Duplicate reports
    • Conflicting KPIs / definitions
  • Build and maintain regional reporting catalogue & standards in alignment with regional function head (Data owner)
  • Drive transition from manual / local reports → DataHub dashboards

2. Product Ownership – DataHub & MicroStrategy

  • Own vision, roadmap and backlog for DataHub (APAC)
  • Act as business Product Owner for MicroStrategy reporting layer
  • Translate business needs into data / dashboard requirements
  • Prioritise across countries & functions
  • Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, release tracking

3. Stakeholder & Governance Leadership

  • Act as single interface between APAC business & Group DataHub
  • Establish APAC reporting governance forum
  • Align with:
    • Group Data Owners / EDM definitions
    • ITMP / Compass / source systems
  • Ensure:
    • Data definitions harmonised
    • Priorities aligned with Group roadmap

4. Data Governance & Quality

  • Define data standards, KPIs, and ownership model
  • Ensure reporting is:
    • Consistent
    • Auditable
    • Governed
  • Track and improve data quality issues across sources

5. Adoption & Value Realisation

  • Drive usage of DataHub dashboards vs offline reports
  • Define success metrics:
    • Adoption
    • Report reduction
    • Productivity gain
  • Lead training, communication, and change management

6. Ad-hoc support required:

  • Support for ATO (External online tool rollout);
  • Support for APAC Mendix applications

Key Deliverables

  • APAC-wide report inventory + rationalisation plan
  • Standardised KPI dictionary
  • Prioritised DataHub roadmap for APAC
  • Reduction in manual / Excel-based reporting
  • Increased MicroStrategy adoption
  • Develop a team of trained super users for APAC

 Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of BI tools/Datahub/MicroStrategy preferred
  • Experience in Data/BI/Reporting
  • Change management experience preferred
  • Ability to understand dependencies / business impacts and challenge the different parties (and negotiate with) to determine the right priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to foster relationships
  • Has good analytical skills and a structured mindset
  • Capacity to work independently and take ownership
  • Ability to provide trainings and drive a large team of Super Users, multi located, and with limited direct authority
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Work experience in a scaled Agile environment
