Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
- Perform a broad range of tasks which include research, analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of information technology solutions within SAP and ZIP.
- Support users and other team members in day-to-day SAP and ZIP maintenance and application-related matters.
- Participate in system and application upgrade and enhancement projects.
- Provide problem identification to resolution solutions on a timely and consistent basis.
- Work closely with US-based staff when required. This may require some flexibility of work hours. Understanding and collecting the business requirement from the users and providing solution.
- Ready to upskill based on project demands. (S/4 Hana Finance upgrade)
Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills
Skills
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, standards, and practices, including IFRS and GAAP.
- Ability to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules (such as MM, REFX) and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process efficiency.
- Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in SAP FICO processes.
- Familiarity with SAP tools and technologies, such as SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Experience
- 5-7years of experience in Finance– especially Account Payable, General Ledger & Accounts Receivable with minimum 3-4 years of experience in Sap Financial Accounting
- Experience in various implementation and support projects
- Need to closing work with the development team.
- Adapt at managing multiple priorities under time constraints
Desirable
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment as well as work independently
