SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST

Trade Credit Insurance protects companies’ account receivables enabling them to trade, expand domestically and abroad without the risk of bad debt.
Your challenge
The buyers of Allianz Trade customers (policyholders) are analyzed and graded by the Credit Assessment Team, after which it is determined whether the buyers will be covered under the insurance policy.
You will be placed in our Allianz Trade Türkiye office, within the Department Credit, in the Credit Assessment team, where you will be responsible for Senior Credit Analyst. You will be primarily responsible for the following activities:

Conducting financial analyses of companies/groups (customers’ buyers), as well as assessing the sectors in which they operate, in order to assign each company a grade from 1 to 10 based on its probability of default.

Preparing detailed analysis reports for LargeRisk Groups and presenting them to the relevant authority level.

Performing company visits to closely monitor companies within the portfolio and being informed about recent developments across various sectors.

Monitoring the grading evolution of the entire portfolio and carrying out analyses related to sector concentration and different metrics.

Communicating with data providers to obtain information about companies and ensure that the data is accurate and up to date.

Taking part in automation and optimization processes.

Maintaining strong communication with crossfunctional teams and international counterparts and be willing to participate in new projects.
You are the ideal candidate if...
Business expertise
- Success record of working for financial analysis and /or risk underwriting departments in a financial institution
- Min 6 years of very good knowledge of Financial Analysis and/or Underwriting
- Very good knowledge of Financial Analysis and IFRS Financials
- Expertise and experience in trade receivable insurance sector is an asset.
Market knowledge
- Knows perfectly local economic environment
- Is an expert on particular region and/or trade sectors
Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to take grading decisions based on financial analysis
- Ability to work with multi-tasking and embrace challenges
- Self-motivation
- Good communication skills
Educational requirements
- Bachelor's degree from related fields (Economics, Business Administration etc)
- Fluent English
