Operational Tax Specialist

Position Summary:

As an Operational Tax Specialist you will be responsible for managing a wide range of tax processes — including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, HAST, GST, and IPT — while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and internal standards. You will play a key role in financial reporting and contribute to transfer pricing documentation and other finance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compute current and deferred taxes including Corporate Income Tax.
• Reconcile and record operational taxes (VAT / HAST / GST / IPT).
• Prepare and file tax declarations and ensure timely tax payments.
• Liaise with external tax providers and internal stakeholders.
• Produce quarterly and monthly tax reports and reconciliations.
• Support transfer pricing documentation between operational entities.
• Respond to tax-related queries and support tax audits.
• Contribute to cross-departmental finance initiatives and projects.

Key Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of SAP and GRP systems.
• Solid understanding of tax and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel for reporting and reconciliation.
• Excellent communication skills — fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
• Proactive and accountable team player with a sharp eye for detail.
• Experience or knowledge in the finance or insurance industry preferred.
• Location: Antalya or Istanbul.
