Case Underwriter (W/M)

What you do
Within the defined underwriting standards and databases available, select and analyze the risks (New business and Renewal for the Travel LOB) in order to achieve product subscription specific insurance and assistance, while ensuring technical result.
More specifically, you will:
- Analyze and select risks proposed (calls offers, consultations, development contracts ...)
- Develop and / or validate the subscription terms (Guarantee limits, quality customer ...)
- Calculate and adjust the financial elements of business listed and claims process
- Assess the risk in accordance with the strategy the company
- Design bespoke tariffs
- Follow strategic direction of travel LOB, assuring risk appetite is respected and applied to support sustainable growth
- Act as the technical support for sales or market peoples teams
This role is a Temporary contract of 12 months in order to cover a maternity leave. Ideally, start date as soon as possible in order to ensure a handover.
What you bring
To succeed in this position, you need to have the following skills and experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- An experience with Travel insurance products is a plus, but this is not mandatory at all
- You are able to work in English (written and spoken)
