Global Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk Management Officer (AZP) F/M
Saint-Ouen, 93, FR, 93400
This role exists to give Allianz Partners a clear, consistent grip on outsourcing and third‑party risk across all entities and countries. As our operating model becomes more dependent on external providers, regulators expect strong governance, reliable data, and demonstrable control over critical and material arrangements.
This is a role for someone who is already a senior subject‑matter expert in outsourcing and third‑party risk in a regulated environment. You understand the practical realities of lifecycle governance, audits and regulatory scrutiny, and you are comfortable challenging and guiding senior stakeholders. You enjoy turning policy and regulatory expectations into pragmatic processes, tools, and ways of working that people actually use.
If you see yourself as a trusted advisor on outsourcing and TPRM, like to build communities around a topic, and want to shape how a global business manages third‑party dependencies, this is likely a strong fit.
What you do
- Act as the global reference point for outsourcing and third‑party risk governance within Allianz Partners, steering and overseeing implementation of the Group Outsourcing Policy (GOP) and Group Outsourcing & Third‑Party Management Framework (GOTPM) across all entities.
- Oversee governance across the full third‑party lifecycle – from onboarding and due diligence through classification, approval, documentation, monitoring, remediation, and exit – ensuring a consistent, risk‑based and proportionate approach.
- Oversee and challenge third‑party risk assessments (operational, regulatory, information security, data protection, resilience), ensuring that due diligence and mitigation measures are appropriate to the risk.
- Continuously review and improve outsourcing and TPRM processes, templates, and tools, translating Group and regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance tailored to Allianz Partners.
- Ensure the quality, completeness, and reliability of outsourcing and third‑party inventories and repositories, and drive adoption and enhancement of related tools and data standards.
- Build and lead a global outsourcing and TPRM community, providing expert advice, briefings, and workshops for local functions and key stakeholders, and coordinating core reporting, audit, regulatory and remediation activities.
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use.
What you bring
-
- 8–10+ years’ hands‑on experience in outsourcing, third‑party risk management or related governance roles in a regulated environment (e.g. financial services, insurance), with a clear track record of operating as a subject‑matter expert. This matters because you’ll be the central reference point for complex, high‑impact third‑party decisions.
- Strong experience working with regulatory requirements, audits and supervisory reviews (e.g. preparing evidence, responding to findings, driving remediation), enabling you to anticipate regulatory expectations and avoid material findings.
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate in global, multi‑country environments, including working with senior management and independent control functions; you need to align diverse stakeholders behind common standards and ways of working.
- Deep understanding of outsourcing and third‑party lifecycle governance (classification, risk assessment, due diligence, contracting, monitoring, exit) and the controls that underpin operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated strength in process optimisation and continuous improvement (e.g. simplifying workflows, standardising templates, improving data quality, driving tool adoption), so that governance is both robust and efficient.
- Advantageous: Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications (such as CTPRP), and experience in insurance or broader financial services operating models, to more quickly navigate Allianz’s context and stakeholder landscape.
