INTERN - GLOBAL OFFICE LEGAL (CORPORATE & REGULATORY) M/F 6 months
Saint-Ouen, 93, FR, 93400
This internship is for a law student who wants real, hands‑on experience of corporate, governance and insurance regulatory work in an international insurance group.
You’ll join the Global Legal Corporate & Regulatory team at Allianz Partners and support experienced in‑house lawyers on cross‑border topics involving multiple Allianz entities. If you enjoy detailed legal research, drafting clear documents in English, and working methodically with corporate and regulatory requirements, this role is likely to fit you.
You should be comfortable moving between topics (corporate approvals, board materials, insurance supervision, intra‑group agreements) and working with colleagues from different countries and functions.
What you do
• Conduct legal research on corporate law, governance and insurance regulatory topics, and summarise findings clearly for the team
• Draft and review legal documents, presentations, internal policies and governance materials in English
• Support international corporate, governance and regulatory projects involving Allianz Partners entities in different jurisdictions
• Assist with the preparation of corporate approvals, board documentation and other corporate formalities, ensuring accuracy and proper tracking
• Help draft and review intra‑group agreements and other legal documentation, liaising with internal stakeholders and external counsel when needed
• Support the organisation, management and maintenance of legal and corporate records and provide general legal and administrative support to the Global Legal Corporate & Regulatory team
• Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use
What you bring
• You are admitted to the Paris Bar School (école d’avocats) and/or enrolled in a Master’s degree in Insurance Law, Banking & Financial Law, Business Law or equivalent; applications from students enrolled at the Institut des Assurances de Paris (IAP) are particularly welcome, as the work is closely linked to insurance regulation
• Demonstrated interest in corporate law, governance and insurance regulatory matters (through studies, prior internships, or academic work), so you can quickly understand the context of the issues you’ll handle
• Strong research, analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured written work in English on complex legal topics
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken); French is an advantage given the Paris location, but your daily work will often be in English with international stakeholders
• High attention to detail and solid organisational skills, allowing you to manage multiple tasks, respect deadlines and maintain accurate documentation
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); previous internship experience in a law firm, financial institution or insurance company is a plus
• Availability for a full‑time internship starting from 1 July 2026
