This role sits in our Global Implementations team and exists for one clear reason: to get new and existing travel partners live quickly, reliably and in a way that can be repeated and scaled across markets.

It’s for someone who enjoys owning complex, multi-country projects end‑to‑end: understanding how a partner sells travel, shaping how our insurance products fit into their customer journey, and then coordinating internal teams to make it happen on time and to quality.

If you like being the “go‑to” person for partners, can lead without formal authority, and are comfortable challenging unclear requirements or inefficient processes, you’re likely the kind of person who will do well in this role.

What you do

  • Own and manage complex implementation projects that onboard new partners, migrate them to new solutions, or expand their points of sale into new geographies.
  • Work directly with partners to deeply understand their onboarding requirements, ask the right questions, and clearly document what’s needed and what’s been approved.
  • Act as the primary contact and advocate for partners throughout the project, managing the relationship and making sure they know where things stand at all times.
  • Lead cross‑functional project teams (product, IT, operations, legal, etc.), coordinating work, influencing without formal authority and keeping delivery on track against agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Map, challenge and improve development, readiness and testing processes so launches into partners’ live environments are smooth and predictable; create repeatable and “turn‑key” templates wherever possible.
  • Define milestones, rollout plans and timelines using both standard and tailored project plans; track progress, report regularly via CRM and other tools, and escalate risks or roadblocks early.
  • Document projects and processes clearly, and contribute to a wider community focused on onboarding and project excellence.
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use

What you bring

  • Significant experience (around 6+ years) in the travel industry, ideally including exposure to travel insurance or related services, so you can quickly understand partner business models and distribution setups.
  • Solid project management background (around 3+ years) running multi‑stakeholder projects, with a track record of delivering on time and managing scope, risks and expectations; familiarity with waterfall and/or agile is useful but not essential.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills: you can ask tough questions, summarise complex requirements simply, manage senior and external stakeholders, and keep everyone aligned without relying on formal authority.
  • Comfortable using MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite (or equivalent tools) to plan, track and report on projects in a clear and structured way.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, staying organised, solution‑focused and transparent about risks and trade‑offs.
  • Business‑fluent English; additional languages and prior experience within Allianz Group are welcome plus points but not strict requirements.
